From what I understand, The only leave-in mains that support printer you have to have a TITO board installed. That is the only way I ever got them to work with a printer.

The game actually has no printer but it does have a LARGE bonus wheel at the top and I was told the printer version would help me get the game working 100%.
All I get now is all button lights flashing quickly, the "regular" leave in mains/plus/clear do reset the board but the game does not initialize and the flashing button lights come on.

I was told the leave in mains/plus/clear/plus/printer would be compatible.

I have some Monte Carlo mains but to my knowledge they are not clears. You would probably have to use safe ram clears. They are 2008, should have printer support. four pair available. PM if interested.

I believe the mains RB has is what's needed for the bonus wheel games. You will also need a set of the removeable type safe ram clear chips. The leave in clear chips will not work with the wheel games .

Also the bonus wheel control unit I believe needs to have the correct version RCU chip to match  with the mains on the MPU. So that the control unit can communicate with the MPU.

been down this road before with the 77 error
but from my notes on this error check the following.

If you are using any 7-07 main or older you must use a RCU-00 chip in the top box. Also Dip Bank 1 switch 4 & 6 must be turned off.

If you are using any main 7-08 or higher you must use a RCU-02 chip in the top box. Also Dip Bank 1 switch 5 must be turned off.

If you have another top reel driver board you might try swapping it out

Make sure cable running into the front of the mpu is fully seated
not pinched or broken somewhere,as mentioned above.

U24 should also be removed from the mpu. ??
