I am only familiar with Mikohn controllers.

What you have pictured is actually a 3rd Generation "UC" referred to as an ABSC V2. it will do the same functions, on NEWER 64bit progressive table games, as a UC. it can also function as an In-House server and control up to SIX progressive theater monitors.


IGT's 1st generation UC is a black flat box that operates on WIN XP (32bit) and will ONLY run the older "Tru Blood", "Phantom of the Opera" 32bit progressive file games.


IGT's ABSC operates on WIN 7 (64 bit) and was designed to "upgrade" the 1st Generation Universal Controller.


IGT ABSC V2 operate on WIN 10 and are 64bit, thus won't run the older 32bit progressive files. It was designed to drive the newer 52" theater monitors that are now common in Casinos.

UC's, ABSCs and ABSC V2's operate on a different OS than family 20. You need the correct Blu Kangaroo, OS, matching BIOS chip set and UCG files to run it. It is NOT "Hand Programmable".

ABSC V2s are still available from IGT and run about $4,000 (IGT Part Number: 91431202)
