Reels won't spin on S+

I have a Double Diamond S+ machine and it has developed an issue where the reels won't spin. When I turn on the machine the reels don't initially spin and none of the buttons light up. There is no error code present. If I push the white menu button it won't go thru the menu it will only light up Spin Reel and bet one credit buttons. If I push the spin reel button I can hear a click but the reels don't spin, it will also allow me to pull the handle but that won't spin the reels either. I unplugged all the connections to the reels checked them and plugged them back in all of them appeared OK. Any help would be appreciated.

With the power on are the reels stiff or free spinning.....

If its free spinning....
On the motherboard - this is the fixed board in the machine behind the hopper that the removeable MPU plugs into.
There is a large molex in the center - its likely this is either burned or making poor contact.
With the power on - wiggle it a bit and the lights may all come on and the reels will stiffen.

Removed the plug - clean the pins with a white eraser - if the are badly scorched you may want/need to use a pen knife to expose the shiny metal.
There was another member on here that was selling replacement harnesses for this as its a common issue.

The reels are stiff and that cable was replaced a year ago. No burn marks and good connection.

IF it was the reel drivers or resistors on the corner of the board one reel would be acting up or you would be cutting 41/42/43 errors.

More due to the lights - This really sounds like a power problem.....Check your fuses....
There is a transformer on your MPU board tray....

Re-seat all connectors relating to the reels.
Do the same with the two large connectors in the back of the backplane board.

Checked and cleaned all connection (they all looked good) no change still the same symptoms:
When I turn on the machine the reels don't initially spin (they are firm)
No buttons light up.
No error code.
white menu button won't go thru the menu it will only light up Spin Reel and bet one credit buttons. If I push the spin reel button I can hear a click but the reels don't spin, it will also allow me to pull the handle but that won't spin the reels either.
Any other ideas?
