IGT S+ Triple Diamond Deluxe Coins not registering

Hello fellow members, I have an .25 S+ not registering coins. I have modified optics where Q2 is removed. Coin comparitor has rake removed. It was taking coins fine for a while with no problem. It started not registering. Coins falling thru to hopper. Input test shows all 3 optics working good.  Coin guide is .25 and correct. Everything else is good. I have held assembly outside of machine as well. Coins passing over optics.  The test button for optics play fine when door is open. I resorted to a clear and set BV which resulted in no change. I have also checked continuity in harness from optics to plug. All good. Any further suggestions would be appreciated.

Update,
I believe I have found the problem. Upon inspection of everything I have found that in the wiring harness from the front door leading back to the mpu has been been making contact with the reel shelf. It has made a fine cut thru thru the winding plastic protector and worn thru some of the exterior wires causing a short. Once I open it up and repair the damage and re-protect the harness it should be alright.
