Good luck with that. I think IGT cut off anybody without a gaming license several years ago. You will cringe at the price of new ones if you can get them ordered. You need a casino insider. What strips are you looking for?

john at rudys gets a lot of new strips at times you might wanna give him a call....... im still looking for rwb wof set and a double diamond wof set of strips..........hard to find lately........

Even if you can order from IGT they have no Munsters sets left, I bought the last ones probably 8 years ago for a member here, they were only allowed to make so many of the licensed sets and then a certain amount of replacements, I could get the Reel and Award Glass and 2 strips but no Belly ... I had a hard time getting these Mummy strips in 2011 and paid well more than double what the list price was on other strips since it was under 30 sets ... No these are not for sale, just for reference since I was told I didn't have them by a mouthpiece here a while back

Enter--"The Dragon".  Nice stuff -Jim.  I had heard in the past of some being able to get orginal new strips thru various MAJOR manufactures which I will not mention.  This has been going on for a couple years now. Keep in mind this/that stuff which I mention is not OEM/orginal-NOS etc. But made from the same dies etc.  I Appreciate the Original equip..  If someone offers other That I may need, would look at that also.  Sticky deal.

Isn't the list price something like $30-40/strip? So $120-150/set would be list price? If some paid double that, than woohoo, we are talking some coinage here!!


We need a smiley (with sound) for Blueridge...maybe "Da da duhhhhhhhhhhh" in the most dark and mysterious, about to get your head chopped off kinda sound!!!

Wished I knew the process for making these things, I'd go buy the equipment and start production, seems there is quit the market for reel strips.


I figure it can't be that hard with all the technology there is out there today.  I'd think you would go into photoshop and setup a template, create a library of symbols then it would be drag and drop.  Its the printing and laminating portion that I can't figure out.  Someone could make a pretty nice living I would think just producing decent knockoffs.  If the original company no longer will make them or sell them, not like someone is beating them out of money.

IGT put a stop to that a while back.  It is a copyright issue to duplicate strips, even if they are no longer manufactured.  Most places like Sunkist graphics will make and print for you anything you want as long as it is not a copyrighted work.  So you could make your own theme and have new backlit strips and whatnot, just not using IGT's original artwork.

FYI: Sunkist now has a $300 minimum order. I got an S2000 "Eye Of the Tiger" kit from them, brand new, a few years back BEFORE the minimum thing.... No more....
 
And Yep on the IGT strip price thing..... Got NEW Triple Double Wild Cherry strips years ago. They ran $45 EACH. With shipping, it was over $150 for the set.
 
And to save me a boatload of PM's: No, I can't get any more... :talktothehand:
