hi any help or advice welcome,when playing in cash mode on a win it pays correctly and because its in cash mode the hopper mixer relay is active which is fine, but after a win
 on the next pull, because the mixer relay is active it pays out either 1 or 2 coins  im sure its down to the coin kicker on the hopper it stays pulled in to the next handle pull instead of after a payout releasing and kicking coins off.i have looked at the schematic but i cant see the coil for the coin kicker  on the drawing any pointers welcome

Is the coin kicker mechanism working properly?
Manually operate the unit checking to see if everything is moving freely.
Check all pivot points for excessive wear.

it's called the "override solenoid".  It's in the 120V circuits.

should the overide solenoid release at the end of the payout?
because its not releasing till the next handle pull hence the hopper mixer runs and it pays 1 or 2 coins before it releases

override solenoid is controlled by a payout relay (insert) switch.

there's two payout relays ... one on the hopper and one in the top compartment ... the top panel is called the "insert".

the only thing controlling the payout relay insert coil is a payout relay hopper switch, so you have an odd situation.  if the payout relay on the hopper was staying powered, the hopper would continue to run until the safety circuit shut the whole machine down.

if the payout relay on the hopper unpowers like it should at the end of payout, then the payout relay insert should unpower at the same time.

assuming all your pays work correctly, what are the payout relays doing at the end of pay?
 
I guess the sanest explanation is a problem with the switches on the payout vs. credit key switch.  Check the switch with green wire 40-5 and red/green wire 14-2 on the blades.  Make sure neither wire/blade is shorting to an adjacent switch.
