Agitator broke?

Hello,

Today 2 points off my hopper Agitator broke off and 1 jammed the hopper.  I was able to get up and running again but was wondering what happened?

Is it common for the agitator to break?

What causes the Agitator to break?

Did I do something wrong that could have caused it to break?

I recently changed parts on the hopper from 25c to Kennedy halves, is this the issue?

Is there a different Agitator for larger coins?

Anything I could do to prevent this from happening again?

Thanks for any answers you can provide.

PS, my hopper is around 50% full.

It's normal. The agitator is rubber and degrades over time. Just replace it.
