Double diamond won't run - BV Issues

Can't find any identifying marking.
It light when machine is turned on.
It won't grab any bill

I don't have a set chip

Try pressing the test button next to power switch (or behind it) about 4 times (depending on SP chip) until you see 5_0 or 5_1 or 5_2 in winner paid window.  Change to 5_0 using the spin button (or 5_1 if it's already at 5_0).  This should make wins go to credit meter. 

You will need a set15 to enable the BV after battery change.  Your last post shows ID024, it is for S2000 machine and won't work on S+.

it's probably not what is flashed.  A lot of the times techs just pull parts of whatever and mix and match.  His head is from a wba11, but he seems to have a wba12 transport.  Can you post a photo of the underside of your validator (pull it out and post a photo of the area with the chips on it), also a photo of the rear connector.  It is also possible that you have validator power supply issues.  If you are handy with a soldering iron, I would open up the validator power supply (which is usually attached to the side of the validator cage) and look for bulging capacitors.

Honestly, I think I'm going to stop at this point. The credits and BV aren't critical to the operation of the machine and I'm afraid to go in any deeper and possibly create new problems.Someday, maybe I'll get the nerve up but not now.
