Author Topic: IGT S2000 hopper mount install question (Read 1527 times)

I'm adding coin handling to an S2000, but I don't know exactly how the hopper mounting plate and plug gets installed. Can't find any data anywhere on how it actually is positioned in the base of the cabinet. Can someone post a pic of the mounting plate and how the plug is positioned on the bracket or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong? The hopper I'm installing just doesn't seem to fit in tight and I can't get the coin tray to mount or the door to close easily so something's not right with it. See pic for how I thought it should go.

Wrong screw holes. It goes farther to the left and in deeper into the cabinet.

OK, I'll try that. Does the plug in the back look mounted correctly?

Moved the plate to the other holes and it fit as it should. My bad on that. I just thought it was really the plug mount because it still doesn't fit very tightly. I see in your pic the screws are on the door side and not put in from the back. I'll modify mine. It will all work if I just manually plug it in to the hopper, but I'll mess with the plug mount and post a final pic for future reference. Nothing her to compare it to and couldn't find anything online. Thanks for the help!

Screw them in from front. The loose fit is so you don't bend any pins when you slide the hopper in.

See pic of how I mounted it. Works just fine now. Just seemed to me that the plug should be mounted from behind that bracket, but it works this way. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
