I Got 3300 Error And Can't Get It To Clear

I was testing my IGT S+ slot machine and landed on 3 bars and I thought I might have heard a noise of the machine trying to pay out but not really sure. I got a 3300 code and opened the door and realized I only had a few tokens in the hopper. I filled the hopper with about 200 tokens and waited for about 5 minutes but nothing happened. I am not sure if I can clear this code to correct the issue or do something else. I have another IGT S+ and that only allows a maximum payout of 400 coins, anything larger then that amount the payout candle will blink and it has to be paid out by attendant. I like that feature because all you have to do when this happens is to just put in the key and turn it once then back and your good to go. Hopefully after I get this 3300 code figure out is there a way that I can set up this slot machine to do the same as my other one? Thanks

3300 is hopper empty. It should finish the hopper payout on it's own. Actually they have to complete the payout. You said you put coins in the hopper and waited. Normally the hopper just starts up when you close the door. They are setup to finish a payout. If it won't finish on it's own you will have to use the clear chip. Shouldn't have too, take the hopper out, slam it back in and close the door. Make sure it's not jammed with anything. You can take it out and release the brake on the motor and rotate it by hand to be sure it is working.  I take it no coins where dispensed. If it just humms, it is probably stuck, the gearbox is stuck from old grease. If you have another working hopper try it.

You can search for the igt s+ Simplified settings sheet. It’s been attached to a number of posts.
This will let you change the hopper limits.
You can also post your chip numbers and ask for the PSR sheet which has the settings as well.

Could also be a Hopper brake problem. Compare your hoppers and on the back of your non-working one see if it’s missing a spring or has a  broken spring.
