Can you ID this sound for me?

Hello,

I have the same exact machine.

I have a DSV00042.  The 42 does NOT have those sounds it seems.  The 42 works well with my backlit reels.

When I remove the SIMM I get the sounds in the video, but its NOT in stereo, just 1 speaker is used and the backlit reels make so sound

I was wondering if there is a SIMM with the sounds from the video that will allow me to have stereo enhanced sounds.

I'm mainly looking for the roll up sounds from that video on a SIMM.

I don’t know if they have those Legacy sounds on a SIMM. I tried the same thing you did, with a 42 SIMM, but I don’t like those either. In order to get sound from both speakers I had to use a MONO speaker harness. The one that’s in yours now is likely a Stereo harness. The stereo harness reverts to one speaker if you’re using the legacy sounds (No SIMM) You could also wire the second speaker in series with the first if you want a quick fix.

I just watched videos of those 2 machines and they both use the "ding ding ding" sound for wins.  I'm looking specifically for the roll up medley in this video at 3:32 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-bWdFEddbw

Only way I can get that rollup sound is with no simm.

Yeah, I think you need to go SIMMless and just adapt the speaker wiring so it comes out both sides.
