Bally Series E problems

Hi All, I'm new to this site. I have a Bally Series E  fruit from the early 80"s. It worked great when I bought it years ago. It's model E-2098-10 (34). It keeps blowing a fuse. Any ideas of what to look for?

We need to know what fuse is blowing. If it’s your hoppers, then I would think you had a bad hopper control board.

It is the hopper, I also feel a voltage leakage on the frame sometimes when I touch it.

The fuse blowing on the hopper is indication of a bad hopper board.  They can be rebuilt, but GOS sells a much better replacement on Ebay.

They have two different version of the hopper board. Post a pic of yours. The E2000 board is wider then the E1000 board. I have seen hoppers in the Bally E1000 running the e2000 hopper boards. Both are for sale on EBay. They are both wired different on the hopper plug.

Slcjeeper your not correct. The hopper board pictured above is the one from the E1000. They use a different mounting plate and are smaller in size. So he need a E1000 hopper board.

I bought an E1000 board, the fuse does not blow, now I have a 6 code when I turn it on.
