Hello guys. I recently purchased an IGT Dozens of Diamonds slot machine.  The previous owner said it will need a coin comparitor to be functional. Does anybody on here have one for sale? I found a couple on ebay, but not exactly sure which one i need.

When i plug it in and turn it on the only thing that comes on is the fluorescent lights. No reel movement. No lcd display.  Also the reels will freely rotate with no resistance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks 🙂

You probably need a new harness running from power supply to the backplane.  There is plenty of info about that harness on this site.  I am not certain that the early S+ uses the exact same harness or not.

You can fix almost any electronic device by replacing the aluminum electrolytic capacitors.

Ok guys, when i looked at the machine i noticed there is the plug (that looks like the pic trisail posted). I plugged it in and now when i turn it on the reels are no longer free spinning, and there is a "12" that appears in the LED area.

How should i proceed?

Ok, i have ordered the battery. Looks like i will still need the comparitor, and probably the "Clear" and "Set" chips. Any body here have them?

I have a tested small coin comparitor. I have clear and set chips too but you will only need a clear chip if it gets stuck in the 61 loop after replacing the battery. You do not have a BV so you should not need a set chip. Hope your coin in optics are good. PM me if interested.

I assume this plug would go into the coin comparitor? I have seen a few that do not look like they would take this plug
