Anyone wrap their machine?

Here's an off the wall question/idea. Some of these machines have had a hard life in addition to the years on the casino floor. Many are showing their age and then some. I have an S+ that has a bit of pitting and small rust spots, primarily on the button panel. I was thinking of using an automotive chrome or iridescent chrome vinyl wrap that compliments the games theme on on the area below the reel glass and above the belly glass. The idea is to cut it to cover only the button panel. I think it might look pretty good.

My question is, has anyone attempted this or something similar?

I recently had an S+ with very pitted chrome around the buttons and I actually did what you're thinking about.

I just removed the rust and pits, then cleaned the surface really well and used a piece of black vinyl cut to the correct shape to cover the ugly parts.

Pictures don't show it as well as they could, but you can get an idea of what it looks like.

I think it looks pretty good myself, much better than bad chrome anyway.
