Bally's 6000 Blazing 7's Coin opp settings

I have a Bally's 6000 Blazing 7 nickel slot machine. Coin hopper only
The battery went dead so i bought the leave in clear chips.
it says on sw1 to turn 7 and 8 on for the clear then off after clear.
That all works good.  I hit test 11 times to program it.  go through the programing for the coin only
close the door and when i put coins in all that comes on is the spin light and i can put in 3 coins hit the spin button and it works.
all the other buttons don't work like max bet and bet one.
I don't know if a dip switch is set wrong or I missed something in the programing i did.
also I can only put 3 coins in at a time.  it doesn't let me rack up credits.

Bet Max and Bet One will work when you accumulate credits. I will have to check to see if there is a setting to rack up more credits when depositing more than 3 coins.

Hey Thanks for the reply
Before the battery went dead i could add as many nickles as i wanted and it would keep adding credits.
I just don't understand why the only button that is working is the spin button?

You need to have credits on the credits display for the other buttons to become active.

Before I could put in nickles and select bet 1 -2 or 3 credits

Thanks for the reply but now i get a 23 error the insert coin light not on

These are the settings I am doing for my Bally's 6000 Blazing 7 Nickel coin hopper only.
This is my first time trying to program this slot machine.

On DS1   I have the leave in clear chips--7 and 8 on when clearing then 7 & 8 off when programing and playing

on DS2   1 is on and 2-3-4-5-6  off     7 is on     8 is off

on DS3  all is on

I am trying to follow a video from youtube but the guy was using a bill machine with no coin hopper.
so I am probably for getting to change something in the programing.

Success I reprogramed it  it with those settings and everything seems to be working right.

From the inside , pull the switch assembly out from the button. It is a very tight friction fit. You will need a 14 volt bulb, wedge base #161 (?).
