Bally S 5500 error 3.0. 9

Great Day to ALL, On my Bally S 5500 on the “win pay” display it shows  3.0.  9  on the “coin in” it displays 0 and on the “credit” it displays 0. The display then alternates and displays 5.4. on the “win pay” it displays 0 on the “coin in” and it displays 0 on the “credit”. Before I go through RAM CLEARING procedure and mess something up, I would appreciate any advice in correcting this issue. Prior to this issue,
I replaced a defective power supply, and it sat for awhile. Now I’m back to working on it. Thank You.

54 is the cash box door open on the outside above the pull handle. there is a switch in the bottom that is closed when the cash box is inserted and a second switch that is closed when the cash box door is closed and latched. one or both are not closed.
30 . 9 is hopper overpay. That may clear after you fix 54 error. open and close the main door 2 times after you fix 54 .

FYI, I got it fixed, the hopper was SHOVED in and a pin was broke off. The 54 code, the wires to the cash door were crimped together, but someone crimped the insulation instead of stripping the wire correctly.
