Primary SAS Down error

     I have an error code on my IGT S2000 triple stars, saying Primary SAS Down and now nothing works. Are there any simple solutions that I can do or would the machine need to be reprogrammed?

"Now nothing works" is not true rta76....the machine IS displaying you that error right?

Give us some history please.

Did you change any SAS settings specifically?

Where exactly is this error showing up on?

The blue VFD display or a progressive display in/on the topbox?

      The error is showing up in the blue VFD display and I did not change any of the SAS settings

   I just picked it up a couple of days ago and it worked fine. There is not a TITO board installed on it.

Can you power down, slide out the MPU board from the cage on the left cabinet wall and verify if there's a large green cylindrical battery installed on it?

It would be called a Varta battery.

It will be oval shaped...sort of like an old oil tank from the 70's....not round like a coin cell battery.

    I pulled out the MPU board and there is not a Varta battery installed on it.
