S2000 reel strips in general, and 12 TIMES PAY reel strips in particular...

Are the reel strips on a 12 times pay identical? AAA? Thats the set up in the currently non working machine I have. 2 of the reel strips in are very faded and discolored, while one is nice, but they are all the same sequence. Ive seen online where there is at least 2 different strips available for the 12 times pay, so I'm a little confused. Any help is appreciated

CM strips are the same. Line strips are not.

CM strips? Line strips? Please elaborate. I'm relatively new on the scene and still trying to master the terms etc.

See pic. CM means credit multiplier. Your machine is not multi line.

On a side note... Picked up 2 new strips. They were in great condition, just dirty with some adhesive residue and dirt in spots. I've heeded the warnings about using water to clean them and in fact tested it on the old ones I was replacing, and water does indeed do bad things. HOWEVER, GooGone works like a charm!! No smears. No damage, no issues at all. Reel strips are as clean as the day they were produced. I didn't use just a drop, I used ALOT of it. And wiped down the entire strip, front & back. I wiped them off with a soft rag/towel when done to remove traces of Goo Gone and installed them in the machine. Your mileage may vary, so try in an inconspicuous spot. I couldn't be more pleased

I never anything stronger than Windex and some paper towels to clean reel strips.

You can tell right away by looking at reel strips to see if there's a protective clear Mylar laminate or not.
