Game king monitor options

Working on this upright with a door mounted monitor.

Current monitor works, but has pretty bad ghosting.

What are some common options for a replacement?

Trying to keep prices down, so the $500 slide in is not really doable.

Are you sure that's in the panel, or it is a cigarette tar, dust, dirt etc trapped between the touchscreen and the LCD panel?  If it is you can remove the touchscreen and clean both.

I’m not sure at all.  My friend who is a PC pro said it happens from repetitive pushing on the same spot with harder motion as touchscreen goes bad.

Lcd color looks great.

How do I remove/clean the two?

You'll have to disconnect the cabling and whatever hardware you need to in order to remove it from the door.  Once you have it on a bench then you can remove the touchscreen from the front of the LCD panel.  They're typically taped around the perimeter of both and usually there's double sided tape that hold it to the front of the LCD too.  Then you have to CAREFULLY cut through with a razor knife to separate the two.  Don't cut yourself (I got 7 stitches from one) and don't cut into the panel or touchscreen either.  I used scotch 3m double sided molding tape to reattach it and the some foam tape to go around the entire thing.

I removed touchscreen & there is a visible lump on the monitor in the same shape as the ghosting.

When monitor is powered on without touchscreen, ghosting is still present.  It is damaged and not dirty.

What is a good, cost-effective replacement for the monitor?  Should I replace touchscreen at the same
Time?
