Door I/O card swapping

Hello,
A friend of mine owns an S2000 5 reel Triple Butterfly Sevens.
502 MPU
The door I/O cards are both 201W (the black one)

A Meter Disconnected error remains. It disappears by doing a ram clear but if he turns off the machine at night, the error comes back next day.

If he inverts the 2 I/O cards, the error turns into a Hopper Optics Problem.

This makes me think that the error seems to come from one of the I/O cards.

Unfortunately no stock on this reference but I have 2 I/O 203 cards.

Is it possible to replace the 201W with 203 ?

What do I risk testing a 203 instead of a 201W?  :Scratch-Head:

Meters disconnected should have nothing to do with the door I/O cards. Try swapping the cabinet I/O with a known good one. If the problem continues it could have a MPU issue.

Hello,

Thanks Ron you found the solution!  :cool_thumb_up:

My friend replaced the cabinet's I/O card and the machine starts up without error.

For information, he put an I/O 200 card instead of the I/O 201W card and it works.
