Bally S5500 coin comparitor gets no voltage

Hi all,

I have bally s5500.

- Pseudo coin is working and I can make test games.
- The coin comparitor is also ok, it worked in the other machine.
- When I test with this machine, the led is not lightning in the play mode.
- I measured the voltage from the coin comparitor connector, no voltage at all -> 24V is missing.

Questions:
- from where the 24v supply comes to the coin comparitor
- apparently the CPU gives 24V voltage when the machine goes into game mode. Which transistor controls the voltage on the CPU board? Or is it controlling Coin Comparitor GND.
- where might the prolem?
- where to look for a problem?
- is there a wiring diagram for the S5500?

Do you have the door switch plunger pulled out when testing for voltage?

I found the reason. There is a transistor pnp in the opto board that is giving + 24V to the coin comparitor. It was blown up and I changed it and now everything is working!
