IGT 040 BACKPLANE AND GK 7.x MPU

Looking to upgrade from 3902 to 040, need backplane.  Also seeking GK 7.x board.

There is not gk7.x as far as I know for 044.  6.x is what was available for 044.

My mistake,  I'm still learning about the machines.  Essentially I'm looking for the most up to date GK version I can get - which from my understanding is a flash set on an 044 board, for which I need the 044 backplane.

Gameking 6.4 is the latest, but Gameking sets are really chosen based on the game types you prefer, newer is not necessarily better.  Superstars Poker is considered the best flash board available as far as variety of games is concerned, it is not really a Gameking 6.x set, but it has a lot of everything in it.  After that 6.4 seems to be the most popular choice.  I suggest you read up on them, there are plenty of posts regarding both types on this forum.
