S2000 no power to bill validator

Picked up a new double diamond strike missing the bill validator and frame.

Works fine with quarters and hopper.

When I installed a new frame, harness and validator, it does not seem to be getting power.

Tried a second, known working transport from my game king, still nothing.

How do I start to track down the issue?

What brand of bill validator did you install?

Have you tried enabling it in the settings?

Show us your validator connections....at BOTH ends.

on a 2000, there are three connections from the machine, the small two pin connector is the +13vdc  that powers either the wba or MEI.  on a wba you can see if the two red LEDS are on , viewed from the right side above the 8 bank switch.

the other two wire connector is for the door bezel, the other four connector is the  rx,tx comm.

It is a jcm wba.  I suspected one of the transports might have been flashed for a different machine,

So tried the one from my game king.

No noise, lights, nothing.

You will burn everything out....it's backwards!

There was a splice and wires backwards on power end.
