Is there any menu option to increase the max bet? (i.e. not 3 qtrs/$ but 5)

Is it possible to change the max bet amount? On my quarter S2000 machine I have SG363s. I didn't see anything but had to ask in case I was missing something.

Well, from what I understand, the game chip itself dictates how many credits the max bet is, so your stuck on how many credits you play. BUT, you can change your accounting denomination. So for example, let’s say each credit is worth .25 cents on a game that has a max bet of 3 credits, so your total bet could be .25, .50 or .75. You can change it so that each credit it worth whatever you’d like. Let’s say $5. So then your bets would be $5, $10, and $15 respectively. You would have to change the sticker in the glass from .25 cents to 5 dollars. (If you wanted to. You don’t HAVE to)

To change this on a machine you need a clear and a key chip. And those are determined by what type of MPU you are running in the machine.

You shouldn't have to clear the machine to increase the denomination. Just key it.

To change the credits for the game you have to swap the SB chip to the game you want.

Example:

Five times pay 2 credits is SB100065
Five times pay 3 credits is SB100057

All you have to do is:
1. Turn off the power
2. swap the SB chip
3. Turn on the power
4. When you get ram error, turn the key until it tells you to press the button
5. Press (hold) the button on the board for 2-3 seconds. 
6. Close the door when it tells you to.
7. After a few moments it should boot just fine and be playable.

If you change the SB chip, don't forget to change the award glass too.

Thank you for the information. I’m pretty familiar with the key chip and clear chip process also.

It sounds like the accounting value is the only way to go unless something can be done with my current chips.

Both of my machines have tito@home devices.

My quarter machine has upgraded SG000363 pairs and an original SB100055.

My dollar machine has original chips being SG000598 pairs and SB100162.
