IGT Igame 044 challenges

Hey everyone.
So the battery on my Nefertiti machine died so I replaced it. But of course when I fired it back up, all the game settings had changed and it's angry at me and telling me there is a coin jam, and I cant disable the hopper or make other changes until I have the correct diagnostic or ekey chip?
When I bought the machine I didn't think about the need but now those chips are something I want to have since I'm getting more into the hobby of slot machines.

The boot chip I currently have is 039. Can any of you let me know which key I need to buy to get my machine functioning properly again?  Thanks everyone so much.

Hopefully that is a DEV39 bootchip.  If it is you can hold in test button then turn on machine until you see something on screen. You will see a menu, choose ram clear.  Then choose non wap keychip.  Diag drives and ekeys are not needed on 044 systems, they are only needed on AVP/SAVP machines.

Thank you guys for the super fast response.  I feel like a dummy now knowing you just need to hold the reset button during boot to get to that menu. Awesome guys.
Everything is back up and working except my add credits button no longer works. The service button used to add credits, now it is defaulted back to service.
Also, I have enabled the printer and it accepts cash but it wont take any of my old cash out vouchers so I can put some funds onto the machine to play it. I know the vouchers say "void after 30 days" But they used to work before?

Again thanks so much for the fast response.  You all are life savers.

You have to setup the Comm and SAS settings so your TITO board will work again.  That's what allows it to accept tickets and add credits with the service button.  See this post:

Your menus may appear different depending on the software, but the basic settings are the same.
