I secured the ball shield, installed a lip on the back of the middle shelf, and installed a cover. This will prevent the Pachinko balls from escaping if they get loose somehow.

I have been going through the backside of the machine with the balls looking for any issues, resolving them. Their is a lot of work involved in this Pachinko machine, levers, wires, it's a maze.

I have no idea why the importer took the win flag and pretzel the trip wire. I have been extra careful not to break it while aligning it up with the back  of the machine lever. Everything is important, and the alignment is critical.

The frog center piece is fairly easy to figure out the issues, especially if you turn a part upside. A example is this ball track on the back of the board, it diverts the balls left, right, or straight down. The stripped back board is the one that I am working with for the project.

Finding out about the delivery system on this ball retrieval system. If the pipe is to tight in its clamps that is not good. So I cut each one a 1/8" larger. Seems a whole lot better having wiggle room. I'm waiting for the ball tray before I finalize my end. The end clamp is designed to give the hose a resting position without having torque on it. It's coming out, slowly but surely, time is on my side.

  Received a Small package of some C clips for the machine, they are 1/8" and when they fly they are gone for good. So I finally got the covers installed. Everything is buttoned up. I did some rerouting of some wires, tied up some wires, now I will start on the playfield until the ball tray shows up in the mail.

The only cover I don't have is the one that's impossible to find. Since this was a cover above the seesaw for the win light switch it's a rare one. A lot of these machines didn't have the extra win lite switch.
At least that is what I am told from a reliable source, and he could be just full of it, you never know.

That's where I about gave up on mine. The gear alignment is very critical and if anything shifted balls would jam on the feed port.

Feeding isn't a problem it's going into the feeder is the problem. I'm not using the correct system, and the guy who built the Cyclone Pachinko Automatic Ball Lifter has given me some good points, excellent education, on it. I will work on it, time is on my side.

 It's great being older, you have more patience, you can leave the project without any issues of some curtain climber getting to it, and if it doesn't work, take it apart and start over easy peasy. When I was young, I was a FUBAR, no father teaching me anything, and a divorced 5150 mother who hated me, I was treated like 💩 24/7 until I finally figured out what the problem was, after I wasted youth, my young adult on being FUBAR. 
I can't tell you how many times I had to go over screw ups while building my slot machine hopper, and I just took it like a educational lesson.

Well, I had some help from my wife of 35 years, she painted the "Super DX" lettering not me. I thought what the hell she has been painting, drawing, her entire life so I asked her to paint the letters. Awesome job!

On to the ball recovery FUBAR (I say that in a positive manner). I am using the ball holder from the machine, it's perfect for the job, on a v shape angle, I installed a steel cover, and next is the experiment to see if they bunch up going down into the rabbit hole. I am working on having a straight shot into the lifter.

This is more enjoyable to fabricate a system than the repetition of a job. I never was satisfied with one job that was mundane, I always wanted a job that was different every day, my grandfather, my father and my son is the same, it's in our DNA.

Still playing with my balls. The first problem is that they bunched up at the end, that was the problem with the first mouse trap. So, at first you don't succeed, try, try again. 

Now I have my balls in order, and I also discovered that a tight fitting hose holder is not going to work. Loosey goosey is what works really good, except for the end fittings into the ball lifter, snug fitting is what works.

Just a update, the ball lifter is working really, really good. I might incorporate a small 12 volt ball vibrator for the lower tray we will see.

Now I need to figure out a on, off switch, and I have a idea but it is in the planning stages. A micro switch will not do the job on this set-up, and I have several different micro switches.

I've got the cover plates attached, the paint on the floor of the cabinet, wiring routed, and more.

Working at on the flag raising and lowering, kinda hard to figure it out when I don't have a photograph of what it's supposed to look like. 
The handle to shoot the balls was out of adjustment. After I determine the wire lever on the inside was bent its doing good, really good, no more problems.

Found a new flag sticker. 
Painting the inside second floor or shelf of the cabinet. I am trying to keep it nice, clean, pleasant, and organized, inside and outside.

Some more work. I repositioned the lower ball tray for the ball chute, eliminating the missed tray balls. 

I've been trying to keep everything straight and even, however the lower ball tray is not a normal part.
