UV-1700 Need Cleared

Great Day to All. i have a UV-1700, BIG TOP CIRCUS Video game that I was wondering if Anyone in So. California could Clear/Setup(DBOOT) was working fine and then When I fired it up, display shows CD error, I replaced it and Now it needs to be reset. The (DBOOT) chip I purchased wasn’t the correct one and if it Weren’t for being the Grandkids favorite machine it would be going to scrap with another load of machines. I live in Riverside, Ca. Please let me know if Anyone can assist me. I see this message on the screen, and I put the original CD drive back. Is there a way that I can reset the machine without “CLEAR/ DBOOT” process? THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP.

Did you ever find anyone to service this issue? I have the same exact problem. and live in Hemet
