Konomi k2 1.5 v hopper error

I keep getting a hopper disconnect. I have the el key and have reprogrammed it for no hopper. Coin less.

I keep getting the error. 124 hopper disconnect.


Any help would be great.

Hello how can one come about getting an EL Key or getting assistance in the use of one?

Good luck on finding one.
You will need a universal elkey or one made for your game.
They are hard to come by and if you find one hope it's good and battery not dead and they are $$$ if you find one for sale

Can I ask how you came across one / what your solution could be moving forward. I guess I wouldn't even know where to find where people put these for sale.

Also, do you know what hertz and resolution the screens are natively set to?

I have had one for years.
It all depends on crt or lcd.
Am not sure what it's supposed to be set to.
Crt you can't set.

It is LCD. Would it be advisable to send a different signal to the screen via a VGA cord? Say a PC that sends the correct frequency and resolution

Never tried a vga cable.
All you can do it try.
Is it a lcd that came with the machine or you trying to put one in it?

It's the LCD that came with the system, stock Konami unit. It will display something briefly both in 1024x768 but I can tell it's out of range and then goes black and actually shuts the whole LCD panel off. You have to power cycle the LCD panel to turn on (or the whole slot)

Sounds like the power board on the back of the monitor or the video board on the monitor might be bad.

Well it works fine if the game is connected

You should see it booting up on the monitor when you turn it on
