Author Topic: Game King 6.2 frozen with "Door Open L" message (Read 3250 times)

Hi all, i just upgraded my game king to the 044 cpu and matching back plane and 6.2 flashboard. i key chiped it with the keychip 28 and i got to the screen with all the games on it but the screen is frozen on that screen. i can touch the screen but nothing happens. the touch screen is working because when i turn the key on the side of the machine it lets me do the calabration on it. maybe when i key chipped it i did not set it up right? i hope someone out there can help me. i will post a picture of the screen on here. thanks john

I see a "Door Open L" message at the bottom of the screen, so it thinks a door is open or a lock is not locked. I have no experience with that error but I'm guessing that's the problem.

You have a door open L (Logic) error. Your motherboard is missing a jumper that is used in place of a switch. Take the jumper off your old backplane and you should be all set.
