New to me Haywire

Hi all,
Picked up[ locally a non working Haywire slot. When plugged in and switched on The display lights came on, no spinning reels or readout  with wins ect. After reading some post I went for the molex in the back and one pin was cooked I did the tilt of the plug and everything powered up. Machine works great the dollar feeder won't take bills but it does cycle on initial turn on. Model is B5033CFW, Date MFD 2\96. So is this a S2000? I feel I need the key for doing resets ect. How do I figure out the status of whats been modified? Thanks in advance

If it's a Haywire game made in 1996 then it's a S+.  Yes, you will need the jackpot reset key.  It should be a standard 2341 key that most machines use.  You should probably also pickup a Set and Clear chipset for it as well, you will probably eventually need them one day.  Is your bill validator bezel lit after the machine boots up?  If not, you may need that set chip to set the machine denomination and enable the validator.

Not sure what your asking about the status of modifications?

Thanks for supporting the site.  Your contribution helps keep the place on the air.

Check the handle release solenoid to make sure it's hooked up.  Sometimes people remove a wire so they don't here it click when the reel stop as it's also used for a reel stop sound.
