There are no 8gb SIMMS. You must mean 8mb as Mark stated. You can use 16mb if you do not have 8mb available. I have plenty of 16mb.

It will let you program a 16mb simm for a 8mb file?Anything special you have to do for that?

I will need probably 12 of them.

Yes it will.  Jut set the DIP switches up for a 8MB SIMM is it is for a PXLF in the game.  If it's a sound file then they're all off and just write the 8MB file to it.

Erase the 16mb first with all dips off. Then turn on #4 to program. It will see the SIMM as 8mb. Flash it, then set the dips accordingly depending on it's intended use.

Thanks for the instructions on how to do it.

If in the future I wanted to make that 8mb I changed from a 16mb back to a 16mg again how would I do that?

Turn off dip#4 and it will be back to 16mb ready to flash.
