Bally S6000 handle release coil reference

I need to change the handle release solenoid on my Bally S6000.

On the documentation I find this reference : E-00947-0010

On the solenoid I find this one : E-947-10

But I don't find any results while serching on google.

Is there a replacement coil with another reference?

I am in the same predicament. i was wondering if you found a replacement solenoid part online? One of my terminals are ripped off the solenoid so I am looking for a single part rather than purchasing a whole replacement handle assembly. Please let me know how you made out. Thanks

Hello,

The owner of the machine had a new solenoid made for a small local company.
I never found the solenoid sold separately. You had to buy the whole arm.

Thanks Nurbo! I ended up getting hacky with the soldering iron. The terminal post was broken in half with part of it left in the solenoid mount which is plastic. I ended up adding a bunch of solder into the broken terminal receptacle and setting the terminal back in place. It may not be the prettiest but I did get the solenoid to activate. Thanks for the info as it kept me from digging to far. Cheers!

Just out of curiosity, what does the coil look like?
With pinball machines the coil number often represents the number of turns (rings). There is a E-947 used in Bally pinball machines.

Yeah,if it has a 3/8” diameter opening I suspect they used the same coil. Pinball machines use a sleeve to protect the coil lining and that length might vary.  Sounds like you got yours working but for future reference you might be able to use the one in the link I sent you.
