Everything needed to convert Bally Alpha V22 to ArgOS

Hi,

I am interested in converting one of my machines to a ArgOS system to run a lock-it-link game. Are there any specific requirements to my machine?

 Is anyone able to sell me a package of all the disks/dongles whatever is necessary?

You will need a 2.4 or 2.1 CPU with the 4 DP port video card, 8 gb RAM, Argos BIOS. 

Jumper harness for the backplane to set the machine up as Argos based. 

Your monitors must be DP port type, not DVI. 

2 DP to VGA adapters for the topper and iDeck. 

2 DP port cables. 

Software to install games as well as a pay table dongle to run Lock It Link games

basically what Idesign said. In some cases you'll also need an ethernet switch and ethernet cables.

Theres a cpu on ebay with the red video card for example.

Also, not sure if every lock it link game will run. Only ever seen Piggy, eureka, huff n puff, and one of the lotaria's run. Not sure on the rest.

Agree with everything just said and would add that BOTH monitors must be same manufacturer ie TATUNG, WELLS GARDNER, TOVIS  Etc.

That’s quite a list. Are the requirements for a wms bb3 similar?

WMS Blade is much simpler, just the bios and the software is needed, however, the Blade is only limited to lock-it-link games and 3 Fortunes game

Just to clarify though on the switch with CAT5 cable, it’s only needed if you link machines together for the progressive
