The machine is a Narrow Body cabinet. The glass will only fit the narrow cabinets.
The power supply is a Narrow Body Power Supply.
Most all other parts, hopper, board, reels, will fit all Uni's that use the 8116 or 8800 board.

If the power supply does not work, open it up and check that voltage regulator that sits on the bottom of the power supply. It has long legs that press against two solder caps.
I've found the solder cap can crack and break off. 

Also, the model is not V90, it should be a Y90. And even though it is stamped next to "Model No.", it really is year of manufacture, 1990. Universal was required to stamp year of manufacture and their name plate had no place for date so they stamped it next to Model. Why, because they didn't have a model number either!

The power supply has a noise filter that was burnt up.  I bypassed it but the machine still didn't work.  I'll look at voltage regulator soon.  thanks for the suggestion.

here's a couple pics of the inside of the power supply.  I wasn't able to determine what the regulator was that Uniman said to check out.  It does have proper voltage on the output side of the transformer.  There are no lights light when powered on, only a low hum from the speaker. 


Mod please move to the universal forum is you feel it should be.
