unable to reset Bally S5500 Locked after Jackpot

Hi, newbie here  Just bought a 1999 Bally Bonus Pas 2x 5x 10x and hit Jackpot, with music,
can not Reset after Jackpot, stuck in C.O.L - COIN IN 3 - CREDIT 0  and WIN PAID .3.17 - COIN IN: 3 - CREDIT: 0
I have RESET with KEY, rebooted, RESET from CPU.
Removed Hopper and Replaced Hopper.  Everything works.
Game was perfect until I hit the Jackpot and clicked CASHOUT.
If any one can help.  This was a gift

It should have reset when you used the Jackpot reset key on the switch on the outside by the pull handle. With machine on and when music is playing, turn that key switch with the key. Turn it on and off several times as it may have oxidized contacts internally.

Ya, when I turn the Reset Key on the Right Side by the Handle - the machine does do some type of a "Cycle",
the display screen goes BLANK,
does some type of COUNT DOWN,

and then goes right back to flashing C.O.L - COIN IN: 3 - CREDIT: 0   
and COIN IN: 3 - CREDIT: 0

*And when I add Quarters, they just go straight thru, to the bottom coin tray. Not in Machine. (?)

QUESTION: If turning the Reset Key on RHT SIDE (10 Times) and hitting the Reset button on CPU does not clear the machine...what would be the NEXT STEP? (if any)

I believe it's ready to play mode. Replace the coin in the coin comparitor and try playing again.

It forced me to search for bally coin comparitor.   I flipped the COIN MECH switch UP (while the machine was OFF) > powered up > now the coins go INTO Machine and it WORKS NOW!
