You must understand the terminology.
You need the female end because the pins are female.
or the female pins are in the male plug....haha...I know...it's stoopid.
The male pins are on the board header.

Do the search for the 18-pin version of that Micro-fit housing, as I mentioned in Reply #1.

Watch...they use all sorts of names for the "pins"...I noticed sometimes they're referred to as "circuits" or "positions" on websites like ebay, or amazon.
Of course, watch out for shipping costs...I try to get the lowest shipping as possible.
Some places sell the female pins you may need along with the housing.
I always ask the sellers.
