SATA 1 VS 3?

Can a BB2 take advantage of the extra speed of the SATA 3? I know most of these were built around the time of SATA 3 becoming more mainstream, but I figure WMS didn't care at the time.

Speed for what? Boot up?

Here are some things that "Speed" up a BB2

Changing a regular HDD to SSD. (Doesnt really speed up first time boot as the game comes off of CF card to hard drive)... also some cheap CF cards are slower.
Using OS families H13.0521 and higher. (Some games require the slower H13.37 tho)

The only difference I see in the SSD conversion is during Bonuses of Lord of the Rings... the loading screen is faster.
