AVP G20 MLD monitor won't start

I started my game and monitor didn't power on. I opened the case and found out that one connector is burned.
Has anyone encountered similar issues with this type of monitor? Is there something else I need to check?

I haven't worked on a MLD20 in a while (we only have a few MLD22's left in Universal slants) but if I remember correctly that connector powers the inverter (ballast for CCFL Backlights). Looks like excessive draw. You will probably see a blown top on inverter caps. You can replace them and maybe get some more time but you'll need to replace the backlights soon. I always go LEDs and tap a 12v source to run them at max backlights on the floor.

That connector is the power coming in to the distribution board. Common fail. You should be able to find the harness and board fairly easily.

Thanks for your replys. Any idea how to change CCFL Backlights to this model? Part numbers would also help :-)
