What Clear chips should I get for this Bally Bonus times?

Just picked this up yesterday....

I believe it is a S6000 Proslot. What CLear chips should I get? "leave in clears or the safe ram clears"

  Also what battery does it take? as someone put in a battery holder and has a 1.5v AA battery in it.

It takes a 3.6v battery and I would get leave in clear chips.

Can you post a picture of your MPU.  showing close up of U28 and U43? You may already have leave in clear chips?

They are not labeled. Probably go as mentioned and get a set of leave in clear chips for Bally 6000. NLG member RB has the chips. Send him PM.

Already on it and I replace the 1.5v AA battery they had in it.

The battery you are replacing , you will replace with 3.6 volt Lithium.

I got my 3.6v battery today....lets assume I have leave in chips. What is the procedure? I found some PDf's and video online.

With SW1 8 set to on, all the rest to off, I got the date and clock set but then it throws a error 31  for the hopper but it doesn't have a hopper.

With SW1 all switches to off...I get "CL P"


Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Switch #8 on, the rest off. Hold Test and pseudo buttons. Keep holding buttons. Turn power on while holding buttons. Hold buttons till it changes to CLC. Now you can let go of buttons. Turn power off. Remove MPU. change ONLY switch #8,  to off position . Install MPU. Keep door open. Turn power on. Keep door open.  Reels will turn and then stop and do a dance. Keep door open When dance has completed you will see 0's and 1's on display. Keep door open. Press the button on the outside of the door that is labeled change/service. The message will change to 50. Keep door open. Press test button on MPU 11 times till you see 11d in the display. 11d will change to 27. Keep door open. Press bet max button on outside of door till you get to 61. It will show 001 as well . press spin button once and change to 002. Close the door now.  Make sure the coin mech toggle switch on the front of the MPU is in the up position

Thanks, still not working...when I press "Change" I get "3.1." which I believe is coin jam in hopper error.. Pressing test 11 times does nothing at this point.

Things to note: Looks like 2 door switches, one is optical and the other is a disconnected mechanical switch.

Also up to this point SW1 ...1-7 were on with 8 off (opposite of your directions) it would allow me to get into the settings, with your way I can't. I will ask if you think I have leave in chips or safe ram?

I made a mistake with switch positions. All on except #8 is used to do a clear. On-  to do the clear. Off after clear is completed. This is for leave in clear chips.

Thanks everyone!

I got it working, apparently it already has leave in chips.

It had a multitude of problems, including SW1 is either labeled wrong or every one else is wrong. Because I had to do all the SW1 settings backwards.

 It had the wrong battery, so I replaced it with the correct one, it also is missing the hopper jump out, hence the hopper coin out jam error.

What are lamp numbers for the switches?

What are the lamp numbers for the 25 cent sticker and others on that board?
