Bally Alpha 2 ‘Printer Device Error’

Greetings everybody. Currently I am having an issue with getting my FutureLogic Gen2 working on my Bally Alpha. It receives power and is able to feed paper. However with all the proper settings I can’t seem to get a test ticket to print during game setup or when a voucher print is attempted? The machine locks up and gives me “Printer Device Error” I’m having a tough time locating the issue. Anyone know a fix or a reason why this happens? Thanks.

If anyone’s wondering, yes I have SAS Primary and validation set to standard. If anybody wishes to see pictures then I’ll put some here.

Do you have a TITO board installed? Should be set to System if you do. Not Standard.

If no Tito...

Did you just buy this printer or has it been working before?

No TITO is currently installed and the printer was working previously. Provided a couple pictures of anything isn’t plugged in right.

Did you just buy this printer or has it been working before?

Hey, found out the issue. SOMEHOW the printer firmware was for Bally s6000 and not Alpha. However I'll be getting a new printer with the correct firmware pretty soon/ Forgive the mess I'm so new to this stuff  :hissyfit:
