Author Topic: what clear card is needed for my S9000 (Read 3971 times)

I picked up an S9000. Previous owner said it's completely dead, and just wants it gone. Got it really cheap. I picked it up...never plugged it in till I got home. He stated that nothing happens when plugged in. I already have an S9000, and an M9000, so worse case..I have a parts machine. I got my new machine home, plugged it in expecting to hear crickets, but it came to life. The top box lights cycled, the reel lights cycled, and then the flashing 8888888 while the reels configuration process. BUT..the monitor never came on and the reels never stopped trying to configure. The batteries were absolutely dead, and I replaced them. Still no monitor. I unplugged all the MPU connections, and put my black gold mpu in (since they are similiar), and everything started booting up normally, and the monitor came to life.

Here are pictures of the CF cards and eeprom. What clear card do I need? I think my black gold uses a 312, but I could be wrong.

**also.. My M9000 mpu looks identical to my M9000. Can I use the M9000 mpu in the s9000? I would assume it's the same hardware..but??

I don't think I have that one. I have these 2. Now I'm wondering what I used to clear my black / gold because I know I cleared it when I first got it

Check the MPU batteries still getting low NV ram.

Brand new. I'll double check when I get home and make sure they are sitting tight. Anyone know who has the 335 clear card?

Just out of curiosity, these are the cards to my black gold wild. THAT machine works perfect. .but what clear card would I need for it? I'm sure I have it someplace because I set it up at one point, but I dont remember what clear card I used..

Thanks to Ron, I received my clear card today and it worked perfect! Having a problem with my UBA bv, but may change it out or eliminate it completely and just do tito. Not sure on that yet. BUT the bigger problem...still can't get it going. Dreaded "invalid progressive amount ". It's been so long since I has to do it. Even watched Jim's betterslots video. It's a 2 cent machine with 9 lines and 2 credit max. ..but im changing the sticker and making it 1cent. Here's what I tried in pics

JP0 = 2,500 x Max Bet x Denomination
JP1 = 1,000 x Max Bet x Denomination
JP2 = 100 x Max Bet x Denomination
JP3 = 50 x Max Bet x Denomination
JP4 = 10 x Max Bet x Denomination

There is also a default tab.

I guess I need someone to idiot it down for me. I'm definitely not a numbers person. I'm going to leave it as a 5 cent machine. It has 9 lines, and 2 credits, making the max bet 90. That much I got...but what do I put under JP? I noticed there's JP0, JP1, JP2...ETC on other videos I watched, but mine only has JP. if I push it to change it, it stays at jp, and doesn't change to jp0, jp1, ... but on the betterslots video, neither did his.

In short, it's going to be a .5 denomination. 9 line. What should my numbers be in both columns?

Look at your pic #185759. You will see the 5 progressive JP's and the default config tab.

I've tried it, but it's not highlighted. Pushing the default does nothing.

I'm at a loss what to do.

9 line. 2 credit. .5 denomination. .90 max bet

Set them under current not contribute, that's how much they increase. Your contributions are ok. If you are still on that page you can enter the amounts, otherwise clear and re-setup using that chart above.
Also-
L1=JP0
L2=JP1
L3=JP2
L4=JP3
L5=JP4

Just changing those current values via override will not work unless reset values are set correct and they are not.

BTW- .5 = fifty cents, .01 = one cent

My contributions are good, but what to I put under current?
JP0 = 2,500 x Max Bet x Denomination...so in my case ..it's 2,500 × 18 x 5 which would be 225.00. Is that my top number? In my picture, the current is blank because I don't know what to put there.

No. L4 is smaller than L5, it has to start larger.

2 per line, 9 line, nickel denom?

L1-2500x18x.05=2250.00
L2-1000x18x.05= 900.00
L3- 100x18x.05= 90.00
L4- 50x18x.05= 45.00
L5- 10x18x.05= 9.00

I'm up and running! VERY MUCH APPRECIATE !

One thing I noticed, on my other Bally (black gold wild), I turn both switches on, and it does into its normal boot process. On this one, I turn both switches on and I hear a buzz...I have to switch the aux switch off, then back on, and THEN it boots up normal. Any thoughts on that?

Glad you are up and running!

Always turn machine on flipping all 3 power switches ON from left to right, always shut down machine turning them OFF from right to left.
