My experience with foryourgameroom.com:
July 10th:
Added 2 slot machines to their cart and added my information to see what the shipping cost would be.
July 11th:
Have an email from "Matthew" from yourgameroom.com stating they have 1 of the machines on hand and ready to ship. Another email stating the price will be going up $200 later in the day. Do a quick BBB search, nothing negative. They have a 4% discount if you pay by e-check. I email them and they add e-check to the checkout. I do checkout.
Matthew emails stating they will be doing the full payment in two payments, both under $5,000.
I then noticed I had missed phone calls from them on the 11th, before I had even completed the purchase. Also several text messages. This raised a few red flags.
12th I do more searching. I find this post. Look at the BBB listing again and see the following:
Additional Info: According to information in BBB files, principals of For Your Game Room LLC, Mary and James “Matthew” Bolin were the previous principals of In The New Age LLC in Steger, IL. BBB has a separate Profile on In the New Age LLC
Looking at "In the New Age LLC" there have been 23 complaints over the past 12 months. Complaints of not receiving their products. Do a public court record search on James Bolin and there are multiple small claim suits against him and In the New Age LLC.
(I did find other public information on Bolin which raised more concerns)
https://www.ice.gov/news/releases/chicago-area-father-and-son-indicted-allegedly-operating-2-million-syntheticI contacted my bank to make a stop payment on the e-check.
Matthew stated all the BBB reviews were fake.
I then purchase the same machines from Ohio River Slots. Pay with a credit card. 2 days later, the order is canceled. I contacted them and asked why my order was canceled. Their reply:
"We received word from another company that you had placed a similar order then canceled payment for it. Unfortunately, we had to cancel this order."
They stated for me to continue with the order I would have to pay with wire transfer.
It is obvious that Ohio River Slots ... which has the same address as Slot Machines Unlimited is the same company. They have a direct affiliation with foryourgameroom.com.
Is Slot Machines Unlimited / Ohio River Slots a legit company? I see quite a few posts about people purchasing machines from them. They have an eBay account, but not a lot of feedback on machine purchases.
Has anyone made a purchase recently?

I purchased a ******** ******* from In the New Age on January 13, 2023. I paid $9,255. The company said the standard timeframe for receiving a ******* is 6-8 months but there was one that was 90% complete and I may receive it sooner. I requested updates on numerous occasions throughout 2023 and did not receive any specific updates other than statements like "it should not be much longer." In January 2024, I was in contact with ******** and they provided some specifics on the ******* and when I might receive it. On June 2, 2024, I tried emailing and calling In the New Age but was unsuccessful. I learned from the BBB website that In the New Age was no longer in business. Since June 2, 2024, I've attempted to receive updates from ******** via phone calls and emails but they are no longer answering my questions. I would like to get a refund.

My husband ordered a Rockola jukebox on Dec 13, 2021 at a cost of $8345. At that time we were told that is would be 3-4 months before delivery. In June 2022 we were told that the unit would be delayed until the fall due to COVID related supply chain issues. During the course of the next year we checked status numerous times both via email and phone calls and were given one excuse after another but promised we were "next" to receive our unit. In January 2024 I contacted ******* to see if an order had been placed and were told one could not be found and that they (*******) would follow up on my behalf. After 2-3 more months of no updates from ******* I asked for a refund. In June I was able to speak with the *** of Rockola and was told they could no longer contact ITNA. I have since read online that the company has closed shop and may have reopened in **. ******* states they did not receive a Purchase Order and believe the one sent at my request is not legitimate.

My story is like many, many others - I bought a Rockola Jukebox off of In The New Age owner/president *********************. He took all of my money, closed up shop in *******, IL moved to the ******************:**************** area.he changed the name of the business and is now going on with his usual sales techniques without missing a beat. He thinks he's successful at ripping all of us off because he had made it so difficult for us. You must call the ******* ************************** if you are a victim, also call the Cook County Illinois States Attorney and report this with them. You need to call your local police and States Attorney. We all have to unite so we can get our money back AND stop ************* from stealing from more people. I will check back back now and then and hope that we can all get together and make ************* responsible, the company name has been changed from In The New Age to a new name I can't list on here because I was threatened. Yes I was threatened! We will get justice
