G22 SLANT TOP DYNAMIC BUTTONS USB COMMUNICATION TIME OUT

Hi everyone
So i got G22 in trade that has 14 dynamic buttons that some comes on and some don't , I just need MAX BET button to work , everything is working but the buttons , it says USB communication time out , this is what I have swept  so far with parts from working machine :
1: blackfin board
2: back board (G22)
3: brain box
4 : buttons ribbon cable including the small board
5 : HDMI cable
6 : On small board the deep switches are set as 1 and 2 on and rest off

the only thing that I can not figure out ( my back went out ) to trace the 4 wires that come out of small board and connect to the back board , I know on G23 it goes to the connection  with 8 connectors  , which is at bottom of the back board next to HDMI , but on G22 J6 is in middle and out of 8 wires , 6 of them is connected ( 4 for reset key and 2 for front door cherry switch ) , I can not find any manual  for G22 .
 Does any one know where the 4 wires from small board next to the ribbon cable goes to the back board ?

I can't answer your specific question. 

But the only time my machine errored with USB communication timeout was because I had put in an older brainbox that has the smaller power supply box on the top of the brainbox where a small single row power cable connected to the top of it connects to the backplane.  It supplies USB power for the button deck and such.  So forgetting to connect it, machine still booted fine, but there was no USB power to the button deck so it halted on USB communication timeout.

So if you have a brainbox that has the smaller metal box on the top of it, make sure the power cable is connected to it from the backplane.  It's clearly marked USB Power on the backplane to the top of the brainbox.   If you have a newer brainbox that doesn't have anything on top except the flat plate cover, then it doesn't apply.

But do make sure your button deck at least lights up when you power on.  If it doesn't, it isn't getting USB power, so of course, it will timeout if the button deck doesn't light up at all when you power on.

thank you for your information , yes the older box has attachment which is power supply ( older 3.0 ) but I am using 625 , the easy way to distinguish them is older 3.0 has power molex with 24 connectors also the second 4 connector on side and 625 and newer has molex with 10 connectors , i just need to know where the four wire from small board by ribbon cable connects to ?

So my back is doing better today and I was able to crawl in there , its J25 ( 16 pin ) , I am going to get new set of cables and see if that fix the problem , if not then I am not sure what the problem is , tnx ALI
