Need Help with Assembling Coin Handling Parts

I am trying to assemble the coin handling parts on my Bally Alpha S9000. Being a newbie, I'm not sure how to properly do this and could sure need your help.

   It looks like the Coin Acceptor Bracket attaches to the Coin Entry Bracket at two points as shown in the attached pic. I assume we don't want a screw or nut inside in the coin path, so what kind of fasteners should be used here?

   It looks like the Coin Comparitor Bracket attaches to the Coin Panel at two points as shown in the attached pic but the holes don't quite match up; is there something else that goes here? If not, what kind of fasteners should be used here? Also, what is the circular opening on the Coin Comparitor that has a black insert that has 4 holes?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
