Bally Alpha Clear Problems

Looking for some bally alpha help. I have a stars and bars 5 line, 3 reel quick hit with bonus free spins. It's got AVOS 316-2 and I purchased a 312 clear card from someone. When I try to clear it, it's giving an error "MBR read failed. I/O error" so I'm not able to clear. Wondering if I have the wrong clear card or if something else is wrong. What prompted this is that someone told me they changed the batteries on the board and now when it boots up it says SVGAlib failed to load which by my research seems like that's normal and requires a clear at that point. Any help is appreciated

Sounds like a bad card. Did the person who sold you the card test it?

Also, please post your BIOS info because that determines what clear you need. (on the CPU it should have a label with that BIOS is running)

The bios is R807-00 ST so it's an 807 bios. Starting to think the card was not tested before sent to me
