IGT G20 Video Cable error

This is my first time posting, so I hope I am posting this in the correct place. I have a IGT G23 "Day of the Dead" slot machine. After not using it for awhile, I turned it on and I am getting the self test screen with a message saying "THIS MONITOR IS WORKING PLEASE CHECK THE VIDEO CABLE AND COMPUTER". I am not sure where to even begin to troubleshoot this.

You posted it in the correct place    Is that the upper monitor or lower?  What does the other monitor do?

It is on the lower monitor. The upper monitor doesn't come on at all.

Your CPU may not be booting up.  Do you hear a beep from it when the power is turned on?

No. Just the normal hum of it being on. Are there any lights I can look for that would tell me that? When I open it up, there are a lot of lights like normal.

Your pic is of a G20.  Did you check both video cables at both ends to make sure they are screwed in tight?

Thank you for correcting me. I guessed a G23 based on some research I did. Yes, the cables are tight.

OK like Tilt said if it doesn't beep when you turn it on you have probably a power supply or MPU problem.  I don't have a G20 but I think it takes same power supply as a S2000?  I would start with the power supply, make sure it is plugged in good, maybe even re-seat it. (with power off)

I know post(edited) on a G20 is one of five things. In order of likelihood.
1. bad power
2. Ram reseat, bad ram.
3. Certain level of dead vbat cr2032. And in that vein cmos corruption.
4. Bios 1 reseat, bad bios.
5. It’s dead Jim.

Thanks. I will try and troubleshoot the best I can. I cannot find anyone local to me that does repairs on slot machines.
