wimpy, but having trouble loading printer paper - S2000

I'm hesitant to even ask this question ... I have an S2000 machine with a printer in the top box on the left side. The printer has been working fine, up until now. I ran out of paper, and bought some on FleaBay. I can't seem to get it loaded correctly. My question is .... how far do I have to feed the paper in the printer?? I've tried just starting it in the printer, feeding it until it comes out the front, and feeding it until the black mark lines up with the sensor. Can anyone shed some light on this?? OR direct me where to go ??I can find out what kind of printer it is tomorrow, but it seems original (1980's or early 90's). Thanks for your help !!!

Try getting the printer name and going to YouTube and place the name into the search area on YouTube. Enter Loading paper into a (Printer name).  Most likely there will be a video on how to load the paper.  Watch the video, and then try entering the paper how instructed.  This assisted me the first time I had to load my printer.
You may be amazed like I was on how much can be learned by watching the videos on YouTube.

I wish you would've told us which printer model you have.
If there's a blue lever on the side of it, lift it up.
There's a photo optic sensor towards the front of the slot that senses you inserting the paper into it.
The thick black lines on the paper should be facing up and frontwards as you insert it into the printer slot.
Feed the paper into the slot about a 1/4" and the motor should pull it in and adjust the position of it.

Sorry I didn't have the model .... there is no lever on the side. The one I have has a bar (??) across the top. Black lines are facing up and to the front. If you recognize this printer, should I lift this "bar" and then insert paper, or just insert it a little with the bar down??
On the bar, it has a green spot on it and says "push to close". If that isn't enough info, I will be in the garage this afternoon and will get more info and also try again ... Thank You !!

Well, I went back out to the garage, and was able to successfully load the printer papar. Later I found something on the internet on how to load it. I don't know why I couldn't load it the other night ..... Then I decided to change the data for the tickets. Well, that didn't go real well ... Couldn't get it right. After another day of screwing around, I figured out that the SERVICE button came out of it's holder and wasn't working. After I fixed that, I was able to program it correctly. ALL'S WELL !! Thanks to all !! BTW, the printer is an Ithaca 850 ...
