Igt Cleopatra conversion to Gameking

I was just wondering if I got an igt machine with a 3902 board and touchscreen, such as in the igt cleopatra slot machines. Is it possible to convert the cleopatra machine into a gameking machine, if so what would I need to do the conversion?

Just the software if you stick with the 3902 platform (GK 4.x or 5.x). You would need a key chip if you do not have one. GK 6.x requires a conversion to 044 MPU. Glass and button inserts are options depending on how far you want to take the conversion.

So all I’d need is a keychip and I’d be able to proceed as if it were a gameking machine?

Would the easiest way of getting the software be just buying a 3902 board with the gameking software already on it?

Not quite.  You will also need to keychip it.  I only have personal experience on the 044 MPU but user RB should be able to clarify and also supply the boot/keychip and best game SIMs?

The hoppers are the same regardless of the game proms.

I understand the keychipping process I was going to just follow this guide.
