Installing the tito board in a working machine, IGT S2000 Clear & Key Chip with the IVC224 clear & Key 0045 after I install back the stepper chip nothing, no alarm? to go to the last part of the set up. Any HELP !

Installing the tito board in a working machine, IGT S2000 Clear & Key Chip with the IVC224 clear & Key 0045 after I install back the stepper chip nothing, no alarm?

Just to be clear on some basics..
1) On each of the steps you made sure to power off the machine before removing the MPU?
2) You made sure to install each chip with the notch matching the notch on the socket?
3) The first two LEDs came on after power up on the MPU with the clear and key chips installed?
4) You made sure that none of the chip legs were bent and all inserted properly in the socket when installed?

When you say "nothing" after the base chip is installed are the LEDs on the MPU all green and there is no text shown on the VFD?

Yes, to all your replies, apology for late reply went out of town for funeral. I just keep going with the clear and key program again (6 tries) this time when it said I would here the alarm (no alarm) I waited five mins. and just continued on. Did get it programed and takes bills and tickets now. I did notice it runs a bit slower, could not find anything online why after installing TITO if that affects it or not.
