G23 project w/ BV error.

Putting together a working machine from a scrapped parts machine.

Getting BILL VALIDATOR OFFLINE ID: 0 error.

Machine has an Mei Cashflow.

I tried swapping bill head with known working one from an S2000.

Tried swapping the PCB board,  relocating the USB plug.

Not sure what else to try? 


Possibly the USB cord is shot?

I have ordered the new telltale battery.

Turns out it does have the wrong firmware,  and the one that was inside the machine is not functional.
